An internship at BNP Paribas is an opportunity to learn, discover, and prove your capabilities by handling real responsibility. Whether you join us on a summer or long-term internship, you’ll be trusted with undertaking work that has a direct effect on the overall performance of your team.
Our internships are a springboard to a graduate career with us; if you enjoy working with our teams and we think you have what it takes to be successful at BNP Paribas, we’ll extend an offer to join our Graduate Programme. For everyone who completes an internship with us, they’re a valuable way to build up skills and experience. Whatever your motivation, at BNP Paribas you’ll join a world-leading team and benefit from exceptional training in a collaborative environment. Dedicated senior managers and our Early Careers team will support you. As a consequence, we’ll expect you to rise to the challenge, maximise the opportunities available to you and prove your potential.
Our Summer Internships last 10 weeks and give penultimate-year students in-depth insight into BNP Paribas and a practical experience of working in our teams.
Throughout your time with us, you’ll either work in two different teams (giving you the chance to compare different experiences) or one team for the duration (giving you an opportunity to delve more deeply into your chosen area), depending on your programme. In addition, you’ll have opportunities to work shadow others to gain the exposure you need to make an informed decision about where your skills may lie. In parallel, you’ll participate in formal training, workshops, speaker series, and networking and social events. An initial week-long induction will set you up to hit the ground running.
Our Summer Internships are highly competitive and challenging, so to secure a place you’ll need to pass a rigorous selection process involving online psychometric tests and an assessment centre.
Our long-term internships last between 6 and 11 months and target students on a placement year, or recent graduates who completed their studies less than a year ago. Long-term internships give you a detailed understanding of the investment banking sector and where you could fit in. They are a particularly useful platform for launching a long-term career with us.
We’re looking for curiosity, determination and high academic performance, as well as the team spirit necessary to help colleagues, whatever the challenge or opportunity.
