What we do

Compliance teams work to protect the bank against breaches of codes, regulations, procedures, laws and ethics. Areas of focus include ‘Know Your Customer’, anti-money laundering legislation, market abuse, conflicts of interest and confidentiality of information.

Playing a crucial advisory role and providing effective internal control frameworks, Compliance helps to protect BNP Paribas’ assets and reputation around the world. We also enforce professional ethics at the firm by championing and embedding a strong compliance and control culture. This helps teams across the firm to understand and manage risk.

This business-critical function also leads on major projects to tackle specific governance issues and control themes, such as our drive to reduce internal fraud risk.

An ever-increasing focus on conduct and control means that it’s now more important than ever that we hire the very best to complement our existing Compliance talent.

What we do

In the Information Technology team, we develop, introduce and maintain cutting-edge applications right across the firm. Our key objective is to apply our expertise to business problems and deliver high-quality, practical solutions.

This could mean developing new applications for trading floors and downstream areas such as the Back Office, coding new modelling strategies, setting up the infrastructure for a new office, or working with other functions to develop risk measurement tools.

At BNP Paribas we work in a Windows and Unix environment, using C++, C#, Java, Python, VBA, Oracle and SQL Server.

Where you can work
