Diversity & Inclusion: All employee networks are open to all staff.

Since 2014 the Group decided to give new momentum to raising awareness, implementing networks and increasing managerial resources to help promote diversity. It developed and signed new commitments to improve equality of opportunity and work-life balance. It also focused its efforts on combating all forms of discrimination so the organisation not only ensured equality on a daily basis, but employee wellbeing too.

  • AGR

    This award recognises excellence in graduate development programmes that are strategically aligned to the needs of the business and supported by exceptional stakeholder management. It celebrates our in-house curriculum, which is both designed and delivered by BNP Paribas experts, as a truly innovative and unique proposition.

  • Stonewall

    This prestigious list showcases the UK’s best employers for lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans (LGBT) staff. In this year’s list BNP Paribas’ Corporate & Institutional Banking (CIB) and Personal Finance divisions have been recognised as one of the top 100 employers in the UK.

  • Ability

    Ability is BNP Paribas’ employee-led disability awareness network promoting equal opportunities and diversity across the Bank. It’s also a forum for disability issues and helps raise awareness about both physical and mental health issues. It’s open to all staff, particularly those who want to learn more and live with, or are close to someone with a disability – in or outside the workplace.

  • Pride

    PRIDE is BNP Paribas’ employee-led LGBT (Lesbian, Bisexual, Gay and Trans) and Straight Allies network. BNP Paribas PRIDE helps create a supportive working environment where all LGBT employees feel safe, respected and valued by all. It’s open to all staff and organises events, which provide information, support and access to business networking opportunities. This helps create strong professional relations – both within the Bank, as well as with our Interbank membership.

  • Early Careers Network

    The aim of the ECN is to motivate and engage employees and help them feel more connected with the business. It serves as an innovative platform that helps people learn about the career paths of colleagues. The ECN is designed to support those in the first 5-8 years of their career so they can build a successful future.

  • Mixcity UK

    As part of BNP Paribas’ global D&I strategy, MIXCITY is employee led action that helps achieve gender equality in the workplace. It operates in 20 locations globally and aims to help maximise the potential of both women and men by broadening knowledge of the organization, by providing business networking opportunities and raising the profile of relevant issues. It’s open to male and female staff and fully supports the UK diversity inclusion council’s target of women to hold at least 25% UK senior leadership positions.

  • Multicultural Network

    This aims to promote, learn from and engage the diversified staff base of BNP Paribas UK – with a particular focus on black, Asian and minority ethnic staff. It aims to assist in creating a supportive working environment, where all staff feel esteemed, valued and respected. It also provides staff with business networking opportunities where we can learn from each other, whilst celebrating the diversity in the Bank.

  • Parents & Carers Network

    This helps create an effective support infrastructure for employees who are either parents and/or carers. It aims to raise awareness of work-life balance and provide access to education opportunities on topics related to parenting/carers.
